The Notranjska Museum Postojna will be open during the May holidays from Tuesday to Sunday, between 10am and 5pm. It will be closed only on Monday, 27 April. Visitors may explore the permanent exhibition The Karst Museum, including its extended section in the basement, as well as the new outdoor depot and lapidarium, and the temporary exhibition Crime and Fruit, which examines the phenomenon of graffiti in the Postojna area. Foreign visitors are offered complimentary audio guides in Italian and German. For those with a spirit of adventure, we particularly recommend the interactive experience KRASOLOV, available in Slovenian, English and Italian. Are you familiar with Medičina Beekeeping? Discover sweet and wholesome delicacies from the beehive, now also available in our museum shop and online. A young couple, Karmen and Jernej Bubnič, have begun producing under the Medičina brand on their family farm in Pregarje. The Notranjska Museum Postojna will be open during the Easter holidays according to its regular schedule, from Tuesday to Sunday, between 10:00 and 17:00. The museum will be closed on Monday, 6 April 2026. On display are the permanent exhibition The Karst Museum with its extension in the basement areas, the new outdoor display depot and lapidarium, the temporary exhibition Crime and Fruit, which explores the phenomenon of graffiti, and the children’s corner Jamar Junior. Foreign visitors can make use of free audio guides available in Italian and German. For visitors with an adventurous spirit, we particularly recommend the interactive experience KARSTHUNT (also available in English and Italian).
